Simon Matthews - CEO Wellcoaches Australia & Singapore

Simon is a Psychologist, Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional and Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

He supports individuals to achieve their goals of living healthier, more purposeful lives and works with government, corporate, banking and not-for-profit organisations to help their staff to understand the value of healthy lifestyle and to practice the principles of living well.

In addition to being the CEO Of Wellcoaches® Australia & Singapore, Simon writes and presents on lifestyle medicine approaches to great mental health and the role of health coaching in sustained behaviour change.

Simon is deeply committed to, and involved with the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and writes frequently for the Society.

When not working, Simon also loves talking about his other passions as a Pilot, Barista and self-taught cook.

 
 

Kim Poyner - Facilitator Wellcoaches Australia
RN, PN, NBC-HWC, PCC

Kim has an extensive history working with medical centres and Primary Health Networks to train medical professionals in behaviour change theory and chronic disease management.

She was awarded the 2015 Australian Best Practice Nurse award in Chronic Disease Management. Kim is certified with the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching and she is certified by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach.

She is currently training Health Professionals across Australia in the Health Care Home trial, readiness projects, and Quality Improvement strategies. She regularly presents at national conferences as a keynote speaker on Change Management, Teaming, Coaching, Chronic Disease management, Creating Efficiency in General Practice and Care Co-ordination.

Through her business MediCoach, Kim mentors nurses and organisations to achieve their best, ensuring they are resilient in the changing health landscape.

She is currently a Director of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the Practice Excellence Institute.
